About the event

Join partners from the historic restoration of the Penobscot River that contributed to the 'From the Mountains to the Sea' book.  The book reading will be in person at the library and also streamed online.

Special Guests: Live juvenile Atlantic Salmon (in a tank to observe)

About the Book:

'From the Mountains to the Sea' book. tells the story of how a historic and unlikely alliance of people worked to reopen the Penobscot River. The book draws on interviews to detail the challenges, compromises, and key turning points of a monumental effort to balance political, social, environmental, and economic values and create a plan that now serves as a global model for large-scale ecosystem restoration.
